| WHY WE DID THIS PAGE |
Do you feel like most TV and radio news is irrelevant? Do you suspect they're leaving out a lot of inconvenient facts and stories? Does the simplistic left-right framing of most news talk shows make you want to smash your radio?
Hey, us too! That's why we created this page of links to better video news and audio news programs—those that have demonstrated a consistent pursuit of relevance and truth; those whose interviews get beyond the list of "usual suspects" from 'inside the beltway"; those that are trying to do the job of investigative journalism, fact checking, and honest news analysis that mainstream media abandoned.

National Public Radio (NPR)
Because they rely far too heavily on parroting government and corporate statements, with almost zero investigation or questioning of the corrupt corp-gov cabal; plus the level of irrelevant cultural programming in their hard-core news programs is waaay too high
NewsHour with Jim Lehrer
Because guests almost always come from the pool of "usual suspects" that argue the left-right facets of the same lie
Air America
We haven't listened to that much Air America, but we don't see much point in a liberal/Democrat version of right-wing/Republican talk radio. The two-party power monopoly—and banker/corporate control of it—is the problem!
CNN/MSNBC/Fox/etc
